Future Leaders - End of Programme Information
We are coming to the end of our two-year coaching programme and will be completing our work with you and your child on the 31st August 2026. We are immeasurably proud to have served and supported over 280 young people during the lifetime of the programme and worked with parents and carers to support families as they take on this important point of transition.
We would like to say a massive thank you to our young people. It’s been an absolute pleasure to be part of your journey and to be given the chance to be present in your lives. You chose to be on ThinkForward’s Future Leaders Programme and have chosen to stick with the programme and engage with us. Each of you is so unique, dynamic and inspiring and your coach has taken so much from your time together.
Secondly, we would like to thank the parents, carers, guardians, and wider family members we have met whilst working with our students. Without you, the work we do is not possible and whether it be consent for employer visits, supporting your child’s engagement with their coach or encouraging your child to meet their coaching goals – it’s all about one of our key values: collaboration.

We’ll continue to check in for the next 6 months. The Future Leaders programme is ending, however once you are part of the ThinkForward family you will never leave our thoughts and consideration. Members of our team will continue to check in regularly to gain progress updates and we would be so grateful if you can encourage your young people to engage in these opportunities. Tracking the progress, aspirations and outcomes for the young people who are part of the programme is incredibly important to us for future funding and ensures our ability to share the programme with more young people in the future.
We would also like your child to be a part of the ThinkForward Alumni. Taking up this opportunity means they will help shape youth provision in the future and be given unique opportunities to participate in peer mentoring opportunities, paid evaluation and have early access to possible junior job roles within ThinkForward.
