Young Trustees
The Board of Trustees oversees decisions about how ThinkForward is run.
As part of our commitment to embedding youth voice throughout our organisation, we have board members that are recruited as a Young Trustees.
Young Trustees are at the start of their career and are recruited to represent the voice of younger generations at board level discussions.
I wanted to join ThinkForward’s Board because I believe deeply in the potential of young people and the importance of creating fair access to opportunities for all. As a young adult from a working-class background, and as a clinician who has worked in the NHS with young people facing significant challenges, I recognise how important it is to recognise systemic barriers and support people to overcome them. ThinkForward’s mission stood out to me because it recognises that aspirations are shaped not only by individuals, but by the systems, relationships, and opportunities around them. I am delighted to contribute to an organisation that places young people’s voices at the centre of its work and supports them to build bright futures.
